We’ve not only practiced alternative health care with the human members of our family, we’ve practiced it with our pets and livestock as well.  When my daughter was raising rabbits, we treated only with homeopathic remedies.  Despite being exposed to a myriad of things at every show we attended (approximately 30 each year), her herd remained healthy.

We try to use single remedies whenever possible and there are some good books out there for this.  But if you’re just getting started, a company called HomeoPet has some great combination remedies.
