Your Unscripted Life

I’ve been posting to a blog on and off for several years. Most of those posts have been pulled together here on this site and I will regularly be adding more. I’ve felt almost called into the profession of life coaching for many years. As I’ve hungrily sought to find my own passion and purpose, the direction for my work, my mission, has slowly come into the light of day. Just as I almost desperately wanted to know which direction to go with my life, I see and hear others seeking the same. I’ve been helping friends, family, co-workers, and students to uncover themselves for as long as I can remember.

Along the way to uncovering my path, I’ve gleaned a lot of personal and professional experience in many walks of life … from agriculture to education, manufacturing, marketing, child welfare, and health. Whenever something interested me, I delved into it. Some would call this “easily bored” … I call it a love of learning … and I want to learn something new every day … I’m a life-long learner. I also discovered there is a term for those of us with many interests or passions … multipotentialite. A huge “thank you” to my friend Emilie over at Puttylike for helping me to understand that I’m not crazy for wanting to do many things rather than focus on ONE. I’m here to help folks whether they have a one and only passion/purpose or want to pursue two, three, four, or more.

Along the road on my way here, I wrote a book about rabbit shows (Show Your Buns) and I’m working on a book of inspirational daily readings as well as finishing up a kids’ book that I wrote a LONG time ago. Follow me here, on Facebook, and on Twitter and you’ll get a lot of tips on handling life … whether it’s home, work, or play … and finding balance in YOUR life. It is, after all, YOUR life and no one can really tell you what choices or decisions to make because they haven’t walked in YOUR shoes.
